Hi, we are the Quartiermeister Association. With our nationwide Quartiermeister e.V., over 100 members volunteer for responsible consumption and the funding of social projects across Germany.

Become part of the movement and have a say in which topics and projects benefit from the social Quartiermeister revenue. Get to know exciting initiatives in your city, connect with activists, and shape the development of an alternative economic model both strategically and practically.

1. PROJECT FUNDING

We're personally involved in shaping and supporting local projects. We help decide which projects are eligible for funding and organize fun events like kick-offs, networking meetings, and training sessions. We visit the projects we support and share stories of inspiring ideas and positive social impact.

2. EXCHANGE & STRATEGY

We keep in regular contact with the GmbH and Foundation to ensure that our social mission is transparent and aligned with our values. We make strategic decisions together, like developing new funding programs. Each March, we hold a big annual meeting in Berlin where we work together to create a funding plan for the year. And every fall, we get together for a weekend in Brandenburg to reflect on our past work, set goals for the coming year, and have some fun. One of our working groups is focused on communicating our message to the public in a fun and engaging way.

3. SOLIDARITY EVENTS & TRAININGS

In addition to our regular events, like monthly pub nights, we organize all kinds of fun and creative events, like discussion evenings, pub quizzes, neighborhood bingos, workshops, and project summer festivals. And when there's a local cause in need, we're there to help - whether it's tapping beer at a street festival or throwing a benefit party. We also love to share knowledge and learn from each other. And if you have an idea for an event, we're all ears! The most important thing is that it's enjoyable and makes a positive impact, just like our beer.

Once a year, the members of the association elect the board. The board takes on some additional tasks compared to regular membership and is in regular communication with the management of the GmbH.
